Women in the Revolution

      There are four women hat I learn about, Sibyl Ludington is one of the women I learned about. She was a young girl.She helped her father not get captured during the war,because abounch of people were after him. One night some Tories surrounding the house, and Sibyl heard  them and ran in side to tell her father that they were out side. Her plan was to have her and her siblings march around the window, and make there shadows look like there soldiers in the house. She helped gather her fathers soldiers men so they could go a fight against the British. Sibyl helped her father a lot during the Revolution war.
Emily Geiger was a great and brave woman,she took on the dangerous trip. General Greene trusted her with the message and believed she could deliver it. She said that if she had any trouble with the British she would just say she was going to visit her family. She was invited to stay the night at a Tories  house and sh excepted it because she did not want them finding out patriot so she left before dawn and that day she got captured by the British and they thought she was suspicious of her so they searched her. Before they searched her she ate the letter and after they let her go because they did not find any thing. She got to the other camp finally and told the General the message.
Captain Molly was brave woman, she was a soldiers wife. She was one of the woman that worked at the camp.Molly loved to load the canons. One day the British attacked the camp that Molly was staying at.Molly started to help load the canons, because they were losing against the British. Molly was defending  the fort, but the British won. Molly got injured,she went back to Washington’s camp with all the other women.She helped all she could,but she did die.Molly didn’t want the British to win, but they attacked them.Molly was brave enough to go and do all that she did is amazing.
Deborah Samson was a slave, but she wanted to fight for the army.She was going to disguise herself to be a man.She used her brother’s name to enter in the army, but he died long ago.The commander said she will march to West point and join Captain Webb’s company. Deborah Samson knew that France would always be an important ally during the war. She wanted to fight for her freedom and she did, that was a very brave thing she did when she went to fight. That is what woman did to help in the Revolutionary war.
